Veronica Sullivan

Veronica Sullivan is the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Production External Affairs and State & Local Government at NBCUniversal. 

In this role, Sullivan oversees economic development policy globally for NBCUniversal’s entertainment units, including Universal Filmed Group, Universal Studios Television Group, Telemundo, and Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service.  Additionally, she leads state and municipal legislative, regulatory and public policy advocacy across fifty states for all NBCUniversal businesses, including NBC Sports and the NBCUniversal News Group.  

As a member of the NBCUniversal Management Committee, Sullivan collaborates closely with business leaders to define the company’s strategic priorities with government and advises on political and public affairs matters. Sullivan is a member of the board of Comcast NBCUniversal’s Political Action Committees, including COMPAC, the fifth largest corporate federal PAC in the United States.

Prior to NBCU, Sullivan led the federal and international government strategy for the New York Stock Exchange during its transition to NYSE Group Inc. and merger with Euronext, which created the world’s first global marketplace – NYSE Euronext.  In addition, she directed federal and regulatory engagement during the NYSE conversion from an auction to a hybrid market.

Previously, she was a member of the executive committee at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers, responsible for corporate and internal communications, media strategy, public affairs, and government relations.

Earlier in her career, Sullivan worked in public service, which included heading the federal office for New York State and serving as Chief of Staff to two New York Members of Congress, including Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer.                                              

Sullivan is a member of the Steering Committee for the Association for a Better NY and on the Advisory Board of the Association of Film Commissioners International. She is a Board Member on the United States Mexico Chamber of Commerce and a member of the British Film Institute Taskforce on Workforce Training for the Production Industry.   Additionally, she is a Trustee of the Drumthwacket Foundation in New Jersey.
