Luca Bernabei

Born in Rome in 1964, Luca is married to Paola and is father of six, he loves his family and his country. 

He started his career in advertising and in 1994, he became Associate Producer in Lux Vide, where he produced the international TV series “The Bible”. 

In 2002, he was appointed Head of Production. In 2013 he became CEO of Lux Vide.  

He produced more than 100 projects, among the others: “War and Peace”, “Anna Karenina”, “Coco Chanel” with Shirley McLaine, the longest-running Italian series “Don Matteo”, “I Medici” starring Richard Madden and Dustin Hoffman, “Leonardo”, starring Aidan Turner and Freddie Highmore. 

Lately, he produced “Devils 1&2”, a conspiracy thriller for Sky Studios, starring Patrick Dempsey and Alessandro Borghi; “Blanca” and “Doc”, two procedural series shot in Italian and sold all over the world. 

“Doc”, is the first Italian series whose format has been sold in US. In the coming months, Lux will be start shooting “Costiera”, a new action drama series for Prime Video
