Federica Lucisano was born in Rome. Even before finishing her studies, she started working as a production secretary. with Italian International Film, her family’s company. In 1992, she graduated with honours in Economics from the Sapienza University. In the same year, she was in charge of acquisitions for IIF, buying the distribution rights for Italy international hits such as: FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL, FRENCH KISS, SLEEPERS, LORD OF WAR, JOHN RAMBO, RIGHTEOUS KILL, DRIVE, QU’EST QU’ON A FAIT AU BON DIEU, THE NEON DEMON, MIDWAY, MOONFALL.

Due to the continuing collaboration between directors and producers, Federica Lucisano succeeds year after year in making the production set-up more and more focused on the search for innovative and original film products, giving space to young directors and developing debut works.
On 23 December 2003 Federica Lucisano was appointed Managing Director of Italian International Film, Director of the other Group companies, President of Holding Lucisano Media Group of which she became CEO in July 2014. In 2006 the Holding acquired Stella Film with which it expanded its range of cinema exhibition to 56 screens in seven multiplexes. In November 2015, the first and only IMAX cinema in the centre-south was inaugurated at the Happy cinema in Afragola. Today she is Vice-President of Anica Producers Union.
