Carlo Dusi joined London-based Endor Productions as Executive Producer and Strategy
Director in May 2021, and was promoted to Managing Director in January 2022. The
company’s recent output includes two seasons of political thriller Deep State for Fox
International/Epix, four seasons of period crime drama Vienna Blood for BBC, PBS, ORF and
ZDF, and Neil Gaiman’s adaptation of his novel Anansi Boys for Amazon Studios (currently in
post-production).
In his role, Carlo is responsible for the continued development of the company’s global
strategy as well as the expansion and conversion of the company’s growing development
slate of high-end drama for the international market, including several projects which he
initiated and will executive produce.
Previously, Carlo led all scripted strategy across Red Arrow Studios International’s scripted
production and co-production business. Most recently, Carlo acted as executive producer
on three seasons of Vienna Blood (starring Matthew Beard, Juergen Maurer, and Conleth
Hill), and two seasons of Departure for Corus, Peacock, NBCU (starring Archie Panjabi, Kris
Holden-Reid and Christopher Plummer).
Prior to joining Red Arrow Studios in June 2018, Carlo was Head of Business and Commercial
Affairs for Ridley Scott’s production banner Scott Free Films in the UK for six years, where he
was responsible for the company’s strategy across its feature film and television slates,
including executive producing Bafta- and Emmy-winning TV hit Taboo starring Tom Hardy.
For Scott Free, Carlo was also an executive producer on several feature projects including
Rowan Joffe’s thriller Before I Go To Sleep starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth, Chris
Smith’s comedy Get Santa starring Jim Broadbent and Rafe Spall, Sean Foley-directed
comedy Mindhorn starring Andrea Riseborough, Julian Barratt and Steve Coogan, and James
Kent’s drama The Aftermath for Fox Searchlight starring Keira Knightly and Alexander
Skarsgård.
From 2002 to 2012, Carlo ran his own outfit Aria Films, an integrated film production,
financing and consultancy company.
