Notorious Pictures was founded in 2012 by Guglielmo Marchetti as a distribution company, active in the acquisition and exploitation of movie rights on the Italian market through all distribution channels: theatrical, home video, pay TV, free TV, new media. The Company quickly became one of the leading Italian independent distributors, releasing masterpieces and box office hits such as OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN by Antoine Fuqua, BELLE & SEBASTIEN by Nicolas Vanier, Christian Duguay and Clovis Cornillac, THE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST by Christophe Gans, SELMA by Ava DuVernay, WOLF TOTEM by Jean-Jacques Annaud, LOVING PABLO by Fernando León de Aranoa and BEN IS BACK by Peter Hedges.
In 2014, Notorious made its debut on the Italian AIM market, the Country’s alternative capital market for small and medium-sized companies, and in 2015 extended its activities to feature films production, and executive production, with movies like THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE IS… by Max Croci, TINTED SOULS by Matteo Botrugno e Daniele Coluccini, AS NEEDED by Francesco Falaschi and COPPERMAN by Eros Puglielli.
The Company is currently developing some international film projects and TV series.
