JURI Mandate
The JURI Commission makes an important step forward by limiting the application of the country of origin principle for copyright clearance of online broadcasts to news and factual content. The JURI mandate is thus a good compromise among the different interests involved. On November 29, Apt through Cepi, together with other sector associations, co-signed a press release aimed at requesting the European Parliament to confirm the mandate voted during the JURI Commission on 11/21.
