APA, together with CEPI and other European and international organizations, in support of cultural sovereignty and intellectual property

Six more Spanish audiovisual industry organizations join AECINE Independent Production companies Association and they too subscribe to the call to national governments to give due consideration, when drafting regulations applicable to digital streaming platforms, to those principles necessary to ensure that our industry continues to be sustainable and maintain its respective national cultural sovereignty.

You can download here the updated version of the declaration, already signed by APA on January 17, 2024, which now counts the signatures of 27 Producers Associations at the national, European and international levels, from Australia to Latin America, who share the same concerns in relation to the need for protection of the independent producer in the face of streaming platforms.
