A fruitful collaboration in the interest of independent producers started between APA and SPA (Screen Producers Australia) since 2019, sharing updates on respective markets, national regulations, and international co-productions.
Today, APA co-signs, together with CEPI and numerous European and international organizations and societies, an appeal to national governments to keep in due consideration, when drafting regulations for digital streaming platforms, those principles that are necessary to ensure that our industry continues to both be sustainable and maintains respective national cultural sovereignty.
