Giancarlo Leone

A journalist and television manager, Giancarlo Leone started his career in Rai in 1983 as an editor in the Research and Studies division – Televideo. Between 1995 and 1999 he was Deputy Director and then TV Program Director, and Strategic Marketing Director for the TV Programming Offer, and Rai International Director.

In 1999 he was appointed General Manager of Rai Cinema and in 2013 Director of Rai Uno. He taught Economy and Media Management at the Faculty of Economy of the Luiss Guido Carlo University of Rome. He is General Manager of Q10 Media and from April 12 2017 to June 26 2023 President of the Audiovisual Producers Association (Associazione Produttori Audiovisivi).
