AUDIO-VISUAL PRODUCERS SUMMIT | MATERA | 7-10 JULY 2021

The Audio-Visual Producers Summit is an event dedicated to the Italian and international industry, which brings together in Matera the representatives of some of the most prestigious production and distribution companies, TV networks, digital platforms, independent studios and majors to discuss and define together the future structures of the global audiovisual ecosystem.

The initiative is organized by the Lucana Film Commission, for APA-Audiovisual Producers Association, in association with PGA-Producers Guild of America, with the support of the Ministry of Culture-Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual, MAECI-Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ice-Agency, and Istituto Luce-Cinecittà.

The event program includes conferences, panels, networking, and meetings aiming to strengthen the relationship between professionals in the audiovisual industry.

The AVPSummit also aims to support and enhance the potential of creativity and professionalism in Southern Italy, generating new interests and promoting effective cooperation between local and foreign operators.

Among the scheduled activities: “Meet The Commissioners” – with the representatives of the main Italian broadcasters and digital platforms; “Shout in the South” – with the Southern Italy Film Commissions to promote the territory and present incentives and services at the regional level to support production for those who film in Italy; “Maximo Award” – an award ceremony to assign important awards to the major protagonists of the audiovisual world.

Thanks to the involvement of PGA – Producers Guild of America which has about 7,000 members among international film and television producers, including the most important names in Hollywood – in fact, the event will see the presence of numerous international personalities from the audiovisual industry.
