In 2013 Giannandrea Pecorelli founded, with Ambra Banijay Italy, Aurora Tv, a production company specialized in tv series. Aurora Tv is now producing the third season of IL PARADISO DELLE SIGNORE (LADIES’ PARADISE) made in co-production with RAI and aired on Rai1 channel. Beside Rai, Aurora Tv has co-produced with Mediaset the tv series MATRIMONI E ALTRE FOLLIE (MARRIAGES AND OTHER MADNESS) broadcast by Canale5 between June and July 2016.
Since 2016, Aurora Tv, in coproduction with Rai Fiction has started to make some docufictions about the stories of Italian personalities: Libero Grassi, Paolo Borsellino, Aldo Moro. Now a docufiction is in the making about Piazza Fontana where in 1969, due to a terrorist attack at the National Agrarian Bank of Milan, 17 people died after the explosion of a bomb.
Giannandrea Pecorelli has a long career in the Italian production industry. In 2004 Pecorelli founded Aurora Film, with which he produced many successful feature films such as the first work of the Italian director Fausto Brizzi NOTTE PRIMA DEGLI ESAMI considered one of the best hits of critique and audience over the past few years. QUESTO PICCOLO GRANDE AMORE, BAR SPORT and ARRIVANO I PROF are other feature films produced by Aurora Film.
